How Montagna Travel started.
Marta has spent her career at the highest levels of European hospitality and cycling tourism: hotels, restaurants, cycling tours, and beyond. She has worked every angle of what makes a trip feel right.
She was running guests through the Dolomites in 2019 when Taylor, then living in New York and riding more than was reasonable, booked one of those trips. They met on the road that week. They got married shortly after.
For a few years after, planning trips for friends was something they did on the side. The friends came back, then came back with their friends, and the side project stopped fitting around the day jobs.
Montagna Travel is what came out of that. Marta runs the trips and the relationships with the hotels, guides, and other suppliers we use. That's where her career in hospitality matters every day. Taylor builds the systems behind the company, designs and dials in the routes, keeps the bikes running, and rides on most trips. Andy and Joel have been with us from the start. They knew Marta from the industry and have shaped what Montagna has become.

Co-founder
Co-founded Montagna Travel with Marta after meeting her on a trip in the Dolomites. Designs the routes, keeps the bikes running, and runs the technical operations behind the company. Rides on most trips.
Joel Jameson
Head guide
Former professional Ironman, now a coach (triathlon, running, cycling) and a sports photographer covering major global events. Sponsored by the world's top brands. Has been guiding with Marta for years.
Andy Lesnik
Head guide
Came up through the elite Polish cross-country skiing scene. Coached the Polish women's national XC team and athletes at the Olympic level. An accomplished cyclist as well, and one of the most patient people on a climb.
