Son Grua Agroturismo
Tucked into the Tramuntana foothills at the foot of Puig Tomir, Son Grua is a 267-hectare working estate that feels genuinely remote while being just 5km from Pollença town. The 18th-century farmhouse has been beautifully restored.
Expect mountain views from your room, an infinity pool surrounded by olive groves, and sheep grazing the grounds. The on-site restaurant is excellent, serving produce from their own gardens. This is the most secluded option, ideal if you want quiet evenings and a proper escape between rides.

A 17th-century townhouse transformed into a refined five-star boutique hotel, Can Aulí sits in the heart of Pollença’s old town. It’s steps from the main square and the famous Calvari steps. 21 rooms blend exposed stone and Gothic archways with a muted, contemporary palette.
There’s a small spa with hammam, a year-round pool tucked in the courtyard, and a gastro bar serving excellent Mediterranean food. Most routes radiate from here, and the hotel offers secure bike storage and a wash area.

Alcúdia sits on the flatter peninsula between the two bays, making it a great launchpad for Formentor, easier spins along the coast, and gives you a nice warm-up when heading to the bigger, iconic climbs. The old town itself is charming for evening wanders.

Weather
Mallorca in late April and early May offers ideal cycling conditions — warm temperatures in the low 20s, minimal rainfall, and long daylight hours. The Serra de Tramuntana mountains can be a few degrees cooler at altitude, so pack a light layer for descents.
